New Begginings

I am  one who have and always has wanted to have a family and a happy healthy relationship. It has takn several tries I will admitt anf althought the two gentlemen I was married too were and are great men..I have seemed to have found the healthiness and the happiness that I have searched my whole life for! Whew! .its taken a minute lol..
Floyd is the one the person that I feel incredibly safe with and extremely..head over heels..in love with and the also My children love him as well...They always want their papa Floyd!
Obvioulsly I have made the choice to get re married..and to my suprise floyd asked Damen if it was ok. and although its been a bit nerve racking and completely stressfull I am confidant that this day will be un like any other!! I am excited and I am relaxed. I am calm and collected and I am bursting at the seams all in one! I know that I am ready for this. I can honestly say that there is no qualms about anything! I am not hung up on the ring, the venure, the dress...all of the little material stuff that mattered before because I was not ready and focused on everything being perfect...is gone! I am happy and I am in love and I am willing to share and spread the happiness!!
Damen is haveing the closing ceremonies at his school next weds. and I can not wait to go down and see him! From there we will be going to colorado where we will be visiting family and seeing my brother and nephew and celebrateing my sweet dear mothers life! I am looking forward to seeing all the family that I have not seen in years and I am most excited that I get to see my aunt Darlene. (she is one of my fave"s) and best of all my kids will be able to ride horses and four wheelers and play with all of their cousins!!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Oh my gosh have we been so busy!!I took the job at applebees and am loving every minute of it! Floyd and I have the privaledge to work together but it is so busy we hardly see each other! Lydia is growing like a weed and Damen is almost through with school then we areheaded off to Colorado for a vaction to see my family and to celebrate my mother's life and put her in her final resting place with her mother in Hoyt Colorado. My brother had bought a beautiful headstone that matched my grandmother's perfectly and I am excited to see the family I have missed so very much. I am sad to say that I had a dear aunt pass away last week almost a year since my mama but I rejoice in the fact that they are together once again laughing as they always did.

Floyd and I have also been attending church and have been building a strong foundation to build our relationship even better. He has asked me to marry him by asking my son permission! He did say that he could marry me! It was very sweet that he asked Damen first and I love the fact that my children and their "Papa Floyd" have a very good healthy relationship. pictures will be posted soon!

As most of you know  I have decided to stay in Cedar and take the job at applebees..but what I don't think all of you know ios that I have not only decided to start my own sewing business but have recruited two very talented girls to the idea=) Alex and Chalee. Alex will be designing as she is amazinfg with what she can put together and draw and Chalee not only knows how to sew but her expertize in math will help me a ton for sure! lol.
I have finished Zion and Lily's apron. Between working and sewing I don't even have time to shower much less sleep..lol but it's what I do, it's what I love and it's what I enjoy!This is Lily's Apron. She loves Super girl and it has been my favorite so far as I have learned from all the mistakes I have made lol..but the colors and design allowed me to play with a little more creativity in creating the pockets and neck strap.


The Zebra print I loved in classic black and white and the black Rick rak looked so nice with a pop of pink color with the pink stiching. Granted my sewing veared off a little but hey! at least I am learning from it!
This pocket was awesome once cut out and rik rak was placed.

This is Zion's apron. For those of you who saw Journey's this is her twin sister's! she has been waiting paiently for a time or two now for her apron to be done but rest assured little one it is in the mail!

These buttons were a nightmare trying to sew on with my sewing machine but thanks to good ole' aubt Darlene and Aunt lynn they helped me figure out the adjustments needed for the stich!

I will be postin Losi's and Damen's up soon and Lydia's as soon as i take the pocket off I sewn on wrong lol..and I added three more apron's to make for Floyd's younger siblings=) and I a couple of people at work have asked me to make them some! so those will be posted soon as well!

Adventures in Baysitting #2!

I came back to Provo for this week and this time i brought my daughter Lydia. She had so much fun playing with twins, Zion and Journey I think that she is going to be very lonely  without haveing someone to play with everyday =(
I decided while i was away for the weekend that I was going to go ahead and try my hand at the apron making idea that i have had lately so what better way then using these kids to make them for! so of course I decided to make one for Lydia and Damen. I did however only get to finish one this week..with careing for five kids..time for sewing came few and far between.. but nonetheless, One was finished! This one is for Journey..my little stubborn shadow! She loves to be a princess  especially Cinderella and Sleeping beauty ( my personal favorite!)
Unfortunatly, the first one is the one that you learn theat it  most from and it is the one that might looked the most homeade? lol. At any rate I think that it looks great for what I had to deal with making it! I love this little girl dearly..i hope that she knows one day that she is truly the apple of my eye!
All three girls had fun playin dress up! Lydia has just begun to know who princess's are and she has only has had interest in Princess Belle from Beauty and the beast..and just as luck would have it..the twins had a proncess Belle costume! this day was so much Fun! I am going to miss these little girls!

Adventures in babysitting!

So one of my bst friend's called me on sunday and needed someone to watch her four kids for the next couple weeks..as she is going out of town...so of course I jumped on the invitation and left late sunday night! I will do anything for my bestie =)  I have missed these four kids so much! I will post some pictures tonight of the adventures in babysitting

NEW GLASSES

Lydia has just got new glasses! She is very excited that she has some all of her own..she has fun showing every one her pretty eyes! She is the most beautiful little girl and I am blessed that she is my daughter and I am grateful that she is so passionate about eveything!
